Yu-Gi-Oh! Genesys: Konami changes the points of more than 300 cards for the format's first anniversary

On October 5, 2026 Konami published a large update to the points list of Genesys, the TCG format where strong cards cost points and each deck has a cap. One year after the format was introduced, Konami says the update contains more than 300 changes.

Many powerful cards come down to around 40-50 points, which Konami describes as the most players are willing to pay for a single card: Baronne de Fleur goes from 80 to 50, Confiscation from 100 to 40, Delinquent Duo from 100 to 50, Graceful Charity from 40 to 25. Others become completely free, such as Elder Entity Norden (91 to 0), Card of Demise (40 to 0) and Brain Research Lab (100 to 0). Whole older themes leave the list, including ABC, True Draco, Ritual Beast, Subterror, Dragonmaid and the Dragon Rulers.

In the other direction, some cards that used to cost nothing are now worth 100 points, for example Destiny HERO - Dark Angel, Ghostrick Angel of Mischief and XX-Saber Gottoms. By YGOrganization's count, 93 cards go up, 125 go down, 28 receive points for the first time and 70 are removed from the list.

Konami adds that the next update will be the one tied to the release of Magnificent Maestros.
