Cards users offer for trade from their collection.

How it works

  1. 1

    Mark what you trade

Add cards to your collection and press “Trade” on the ones you want to give away. Only those become public: the rest of your collection is seen by you alone.

  2. 2

    Say what you want

Open a card in the catalog and add it to your wanted cards, choosing variant and language if they matter to you.

  3. 3

    Find the match

“For you” shows who offers the cards you want. “Mutual trade” means that person also wants a card you offer.

  4. 4

    Agree in chat

Write to the other collector, compare the cards' market values and decide between you what to trade and how to ship.

Trades are agreements between collectors

Amber Road puts people who want to trade in touch and takes no part in the trade: it does not receive or check the cards, it handles no payments or shipping, and it does not guarantee authenticity, condition or outcome. Each member answers for what they promise and what they send. Our job is to moderate: if someone misbehaves, report them from their profile or from the chat, and we act with warnings, suspensions and bans.

Scammers are banned at once

If a trade turns out to be a scam and there is concrete evidence (the chat, photos of the cards, the shipping receipt and tracking), the scammer's account is closed at once and for good, with no warnings. Report it from the profile or the chat choosing “Scam” and write what evidence you have.

To trade with peace of mind

  • Look at the other person's profile: the reviews they received and how long they have been a member.
  • Ask for photos of the real card, front and back, before you agree.
  • Use tracked shipping and photograph the card and the parcel before sending.
  • Keep the evidence: photos, receipt and tracking. If something goes wrong they are what gets a scammer banned.
  • With people you don't know, start with low-value trades.
  • A trade is card for card: don't send money to people you don't know.
